    Friends of Sceptre

Maintaining, improving (and enjoying) Sceptre requires a wide range of practical skills, as well as funds for equipment or specialist work.

Over the years, Sceptre has attracted a group of Friends who, for a multitude of reasons, are keen to be involved with this historic yacht.  These people give most generously of their time, their expertise, their skill or their products towards the effort of maintaining and improving Sceptre, and the Society is very fortunate indeed to be able to call on their goodwill as and when needed.

Why not join them!  The Society is glad to exchange a day’s sailing for a good day’s work by Sceptre’s Friends – if you feel you could help with our winter maintenance programme - contact us

    Make a Donation

The Sceptre Preservation Society is committed to preserving, maintaining and improving Sceptre, and keeping her in the public eye.  None of these things are possible without a considerable investment.

If you would like to make a Donation (of money or equipment) to help keep Sceptre sailing in British waters, your generosity will be gratefully received, and acknowledged on the front page of our website - contact us.

    Sponsorship

The Sceptre Preservation Society will be happy to talk to you about any sponsorship opportunities you may have in mind.  Some suggestions might be:
    • Sponsor Sceptre’s entry, and join a Regatta or special event
    • Sponsor a piece of equipment on board
    • Sponsor a new sail
    • Support the cost of summer or winter berthing
